An international recruiter, now recruited to Canada.

September 27th, 2011

Kevin Gao is used to discussing the opportunities available for students in international education. As a former Director of International Transfer Programs at Wuxi South Ocean College in China, Kevin has discussed the advantages of international education with students and parents. He did such a great job, he decided to move to Canada himself!

“The team I worked with had 14 members from four different countries. I really enjoyed working with such a united team…I learned a lot about cross-cultural communication, so I was really prepared to move to Canada,” says Kevin, who arrived in Canada in May 2011.

Kevin is knowledgeable and passionate about post-secondary education, skills he feels will benefit institutions here in Canada. “There are more than 200 higher education institutes in Canada. More and more Chinese students are choosing Canada to be their international education destination,” says Kevin.

Kevin’s experience with post-secondary recruitment is also transferable to other fields, such as human resources recruitment, a field he is open to pursuing, as he is enthusiastic about helping people achieve their own goals.
